ITINERARY

Our local tour guide will meet you at 10 am for morning option or 5 pm for afternoon option in front of May De Ville Premier hotel (21 Luong Ngoc Quyen street, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi) for the joint tour, at your hotel in Hanoi’s old quarter for the private tour. 

After the short introduction of our local expert, he or she is taking you to some typical streets in the old quarter of Hanoi to enjoy Vietnamese deliciously traditional street food dishes, besides that your guide also shares with all of you about Hanoi and Vietnam food culture. Firstly, you are trying Banh Ran (Vietnamese donuts). Secondly, you taste Nem (The traditional spring rolls). Thirdly, you enjoy Banh Cuon (The thin rice paper with minced pork and mushroom inside). Fourthly, you enjoy Bun Bo Nam Bo (Beef noodle salad). Fifthly, you taste Banh My (Vietnamese sandwich). Lastly, you finish all food dishes with local fruit dessert.

After food, your local guide is taking you to a local coffee shop to enjoy egg coffee and Hanoi Bia Hoi (Hanoi draught beer). The tour ends at the first meeting point.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Booking cancellation must be notified by your email and confirmed by Indochina Kite Travel. Applicable fees will be calculated depending on confirmation time as follows:
  • Within 1 day before the departure date: 100% of charge will be applied.
  • From 2 to 6 days before departure date: 50% of charge will be applied.
  • From 7 to 14 days: 20% of charge will be applied.
  • From 15 days: Free of charge

This Cancellation policy is just applied for day trips and the group under 10 pax. Other cases will be sent upon your request.

1. Do I need visa to visit Vietnam?

– Vietnam visa is compulsory for nationalities except for ASEAN countries, Japan, Korea. And citizens of Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland visiting Vietnam for up to 15 days are exempted from visas. 4. How is the climate in Vietnam?

Vietnam climate is particularly complicated like some different countries in the world. Weather patterns have been changing over recent years. The climate of Vietnam is described in details as below:

Northern Vietnam climate:

– The Winter (December to March) can be surprisingly bitter for cold air sweeps from the south of China, persistent mist and temperatures as low as 7°C. Things start warming up again in April, which ushers in a good period, spring weather before summer heat begins in earnest in May, closely followed by the rainy season in June, July and August. This combination makes for hot, sticky weather which makes many people surprised. The temperatures can occasionally reach 42°C, average 30°C, while humidity hovers about 75-80%. Central coast Vietnam climate:

– The coastal region from Thanh Hoa province to Hue lies in the typhoon belt. Around Hue, typhoons are the most prevalent from April to June, while further north, the season generally lasts from July to November.
